Snacks were brought round throughout the morning plus we had a decent lunch consisting of chicken, fish, rice and peas, macaroni pie and salad followed by desert as we sailed home. The crew were knowledgeable and really friendly. One big plus is that the numbers are restricted so there's plenty of space. If I return to Barbados I will definitely go on this cruise again.   Catamaran trip Barbados - We were a party of 8 and shared the cruise with another family of 6. We were picked up by a minibus taxi. Captain Nick and his two... read more crew welcomed us aboard. As soon as we set off they opened the bar. They also had tea, coffee and soft drinks plus delicious coconut chocolate biscuits and a local snack. The crew were great working hard all day producing endless tasty snacks and serving drinks. The boat special rum cocktail was my favourite.

We stopped at some great snorkelling spots. The first became busy with other boats so Captain Nick took us to another wreck where we were alone. The snorkelling was guided by Luca who did a great job pointing out the fish, turtles and wrecks. The Captain had also paid the extra insurance so we did not need life jackets if we chose not to wear them.

My girls enjoyed sunbathing on the front netting while the crew served them tasty snacks and cocktails. The Captain sales the cat whenever he could which I really enjoyed.

We had a delicious lunch topped off with a delicious chocolate desert. We ended the day swimming off Paradise Beach hunting sand dollars.

A great day out worth every penny of the cost. We will be taking another trip on this boat. Thank you to the crew for your hard work which made it a chill fun day.

We were a... read more group of 6 and there were 6 others on the boat. Great time snorkelling with turtles in the bay, then taken along coast for further snorkelling on the reef & shipwrecks. Food and drink served throughout the day was excellent. After lunch we had stopover at a lovely remote beach before leisurely return to harbour and lift home. All of the guys worked really hard to look after us. I really can’t fault the cruise and it really is exceptional value when you consider the prices of some of the restaurants on the island. We initially booked with Calypso because of the smaller number of people on board and we were so glad we did! We saw the other cruises sailing by and all had at least double the number of people all crammed together, meanwhile there was room for all of us to sprawl out. The crew perfectly balances being chatty and friendly without being over the top and in your face. They went above and beyond to help my husband become more comfortable snorkelling, including spending time 1 on 1 with him. We had such a wonderful time, we immediately recommended Calypso to everyone we crossed paths with. For sure the highlight of our trip - it would be a huge miss to book a catamaran cruise with any other company!

We were taken swimming with turtles - we all managed to touch them and spent a long time enjoying them. Staff were knowledgable about what fish were around us and when we swum over the shipwrecks they showed us exactly where to look and information on all the boats. Nick and his crew were funny and friendly and also let our kids have a go at driving the boat! They made the kids feel so looked after as well as the adults. They couldn’t have been more attentive, informative and friendly. Our experience was incredible from the scenery, fish, turtles, shipwrecks and the sun, but the hospitality really made it everything. The way... read more they treated our kids like they were royalty was amazing and will leave them talking about the day for years to come. Funny, knowledgeable and attentive the whole team kept us informed, well fed and watered and extremely happy throughout the whole day. Swimming with the turtles was the highlight and Matteo made sure everyone in the party had had the opportunity to see and touch a turtle before we moved on. He also let us know of the other sea life visible so we didn’t miss anything. He was very aware of everyone’s abilities and constantly checked on everyone to ensure no one needed assistance. His swimming around the shipwrecks with the bread to attract the fish was amazing. Back onboard Akeem ensured the kids were fed before the adults which was a really nice touch, and made sure no one was without a drink at any time. The food was plentiful and really good. The stop off points were idyllic and Captain Nick was both knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour! The kids were made up when he let them drive the boat. All in all we all had an amazing day and would have loved to return the next day to do it all again. Having looked at the reviews briefly you don’t need me to tell you to get yourself booked onto this cruise, everyone is of the same opinion, the BEST day you could wish for and a whole memory bank to take away at the end.
